DK Burnaby, President Amazon DK Burnaby is President of STAC and a local TA leader. He is currently heading TA for the Alexa Domains group at Amazon.  DK began his career as an IT consultant and entrepreneur, but he has spent the past 18 years recruiting at local technology companies, including building and leading teams at companies like Concur, Redfin, and Tableau. DK is passionate about elevating the role of TA as a strategic advisor and partner to the business and driving innovation within our field.

Ian Johnson, Past President Virginia Mason Medical Center Ian Johnson is the Director of Talent Management at Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle, WA.   Ian brings nearly 30 years of experience in leading talent initiatives both within healthcare and other industries (non-healthcare experience includes Starbucks, Capital One, and Eddie Bauer).  Ian is President Emeritus for the organization that evolved into today’s STAC. .

Dan Russell, VP/Treasurer Amazon Dan Russell is a Recruiting Manager at Amazon in Seattle, WA. Dan started his career as a CPA with KPMG before moving into talent acquisition as an agency recruiter. Since then, Dan has led recruiting efforts throughout North America for University, Tech, and Non-Tech hiring initiatives. Outside of work, Dan enjoys being a part of the PNW culture, but enjoys several trips to Montana each year. His guilty pleasure is watching and talking about the NBA. Bring back our Sonics!
